Senior Full Stack Developer

Global Financial Firm located in RUTHERFORD, NJ has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team.
• Build robust, high-performance, large-scale applications.
• Utilize hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS), REST-APIs, and Backend using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Participate in Agile software development processes with a strong emphasis on test-driven development.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and utilize tools such as JIRA, BlackDuck, SONAR, etc.
• Build sophisticated tooling for development and production team use.
• Operate with minimal direct supervision.

Requirements

• Full-stack developer with 8-10 years of experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications applying Object Oriented Design principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with concurrent programming in Java Core.
• Experience with Spring Framework including Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, Hibernate.
• Proficiency in working with databases - RDBMS preferably Oracle, NoSQL preferably MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Linux environment including scripting skills.
• Experience with SDLC/Dev Ops - Github, CI/CD pipeline frameworks such as Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, and any secure coding toolkits.
• Ability to lead and coach a team of developers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React JS.
• Experience in the financial or banking sector, automated testing experience.
• Experience with AI Dev tools such as Copilot.
