The Role

This is not a traditional communications role. Nor is it a traditional PR, marketing or social media position.

We're looking for an exceptional communications and storytelling leader to become one of the Founder & CEO's closest strategic partners.

Your primary responsibility will be building one of the most influential founder brands in fashion, business and AI, whilst ensuring SUMWON STUDIOS develops a world-class external reputation alongside it.

You'll spend a significant amount of time working directly with the Founder, capturing ideas, challenging thinking, identifying stories worth telling and building the systems that transform everyday conversations into long-term influence.

The best ideas won't come from scheduled meetings.

They'll come from sitting in strategy sessions, travelling with the Founder, hearing product discussions, witnessing key business moments and understanding how decisions are made.

This role is built on proximity, trust, judgement and exceptional taste.

Key Responsibilities

• Founder Brand (Primary Focus)
• Your core responsibility is to build one of the most respected founder brands in business over the next decade.
• Develop and execute the long-term founder brand strategy.
• Build the Founder into a recognised voice across entrepreneurship, AI, leadership, fashion and company building.
• Capture conversations, ideas and strategic thinking and transform them into compelling content.
• Own the founder platform across all relevant channels, ensuring every touchpoint supports the long-term vision.
• Build and manage the founder content calendar and editorial strategy.
• Identify podcasts, interviews, speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities.
• Prepare speeches, presentations, keynote content and interview talking points.
• Run weekly founder debrief sessions to capture ideas and insights.
• Challenge ideas, refine messaging and help shape the Founder's thinking before it reaches the outside world.
• Build a scalable operating system that consistently turns ideas into high-quality content.
• Create an AI-ready archive of content, ideas and intellectual property that compounds in value over time.SUMWON STUDIOS Communications
• Alongside the founder brand, you'll own how SUMWON STUDIOS is represented externally.

Responsibilities include

• Defining and evolving the company narrative.
• Leading PR strategy and media relationships.
• Drafting company announcements and executive communications.
• Supporting employer branding.
• Ensuring consistency between the founder's brand and the company's positioning.
• Protecting and strengthening the reputation of SUMWON STUDIOS.Content & Storytelling
• Define the editorial framework behind the founder brand.
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all communications.
• Exercise exceptional editorial judgement and creative taste across everything we publish.
• Turn day-to-day business activity into compelling stories.
• Brief and manage the Founder Content Capture function.
• Oversee content production from idea through to publication.
• Ensure every output reflects the highest possible quality.
• Build the Function
• This person won't simply run communications.
• You'll build the function.

Responsibilities include

• Designing scalable workflows and operating rhythms.
• Building an AI-native communications function that leverages automation, research, content generation and asset management.
• Managing the Founder Content Capture role.
• Identifying opportunities to evolve the team as the business grows.

• Luxury fashion experience is helpful, but it's not essential.
