Information Technology Project Manager

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified IT Project Manager to fill an open position with one of our clients in the technology industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven project professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoys leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with experience managing technology projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business and technology leaders while driving impactful projects from initiation through successful delivery.

The IT Project Manager will oversee multiple concurrent projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and IT teams. This individual will be responsible for managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, resources, and project communications while fostering collaboration across technical and functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, Agile boards, resource plans, and budget tracking while managing risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate communication between business owners, technology teams, operations teams, and leadership to drive successful project outcomes.
• Provide regular status reporting, manage issue escalation and resolution, and support change management activities throughout project execution.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management experience within an IT organization.
• Strong experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience with project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and governance processes.
• Ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success working independently and within cross-functional teams while driving collaboration, decision-making, and problem resolution.
