About the Opportunity

Ask Anthropy is partnering with a fast-growing hospitality company to hire a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead marketing for two growing food brands: an artisan bakery & café and a premium frozen yogurt concept.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketer who loves storytelling, content creation, and building brands that people genuinely connect with. This is a hands-on role where you'll own the marketing strategy while also creating the content that brings each brand to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media strategy across two consumer brands.
• Plan, create, and manage content calendars.
• Capture and edit photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• Build and maintain each brand's unique voice and visual identity.
• Manage email marketing, SMS campaigns, and customer communications.
• Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, grand openings, and community events.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to identify stories worth telling.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data and insights.
• Create marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and in-store traffic.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, brand marketing, or content marketing.
• Experience marketing consumer-facing brands. Hospitality, food & beverage, retail, or lifestyle experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating photography, videography, short-form video, and social media campaigns.
• Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and email marketing platforms.
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
• Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences.

Work Environment

• This is an onsite position supporting multiple locations throughout New York City.
• The role will typically spend 3–4 days each week visiting bakery and frozen yogurt locations to create content and collaborate with store teams, with approximately one day each week working from the corporate office on planning, strategy, and campaign execution.
• Flexibility is essential, as content creation may occasionally take place during evenings, weekends, grand openings, product launches, and special events.
• This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and partners closely with executive leadership.

Compensation

• $90,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience.
