• We’re hiring on behalf of a leading financial services and payments organisation for a Business Programme Manager to support a major integration and transformation initiative within a complex regulated environment.

This role will lead programme management from a business readiness perspective, working closely with Product and Technology Programme Managers to ensure delivered capabilities are commercially ready, operationally ready, embedded into the business, and successfully transitioned into BAU ownership.

The position requires strong experience across Business Operational Readiness (BOR), commercialisation, governance, stakeholder management, operational transformation and enterprise delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end business readiness plans aligned to programme delivery
• Lead go/no-go readiness assessments, RAID management, dependency tracking and governance reporting
• Coordinate operational readiness across people, process, controls, support models, training and service operations
• Drive transition-to-BAU and business embedding activities to ensure operational adoption and ownership
• Coordinate communications, stakeholder engagement, training and change management activities
• Support commercialisation activities including proposition readiness, customer journeys and go-to-market coordination
• Work closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Compliance and Finance stakeholders
• Produce executive reporting, governance packs, meeting minutes and action tracking documentation
• Key Experience

Required

• Strong Programme or Project Management experience within banking, payments or financial services
• Proven experience delivering operational readiness, business transformation or integration programmes
• Experience managing large cross-functional workstreams across business and technology teams
• Strong governance capability including RAID management, executive reporting and dependency management
• Experience managing transition-to-BAU, operational readiness and stakeholder engagement activities
• Strong communication, facilitation and organisational skills
• Experience within payments, merchant acquiring or regulated financial services environments highly desirable
