National Account Manager - North Sydney

The Opportunity

As a National Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the success of one of Australia's largest retail partnerships, Woolworths. Working closely with the National Business Manager, you'll lead the execution of short-term business strategies, promotional programs, and customer initiatives that deliver sustainable growth across our portfolio.

This is a highly collaborative and commercially focused role where you'll partner with internal stakeholders and Woolworths teams to optimise promotional plans, unlock growth opportunities, and deliver against key performance metrics including volume, revenue, profitability, and market share.

This role is offered as a full-time permanent position and is based in North Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of the Joint Business Plan to achieve volume, revenue, profitability and market share objectives
• Manage and execute Woolworths promotional programs, ensuring strong in-store activation and commercial outcomes
• Build and maintain effective relationships with Woolworths and key internal stakeholders across Category, Revenue Growth Management, Demand Planning and Field Sales
• Leverage category insights, customer trends and market data to identify growth opportunities and influence customer plans
• Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to develop proactive and value-adding customer strategies
• Own forecasting and demand planning processes, ensuring high levels of accuracy and alignment across teams
• Track and report on business performance, promotional effectiveness and customer outcomes
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that support category and customer growth

About You

You are commercially minded, highly analytical and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy building relationships, influencing outcomes and working collaboratively to deliver shared business objectives.

In addition, you will have:

• Experience managing large or complex customer accounts within FMCG, retail, grocery or a related industry
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to challenge thinking and explore new ideas
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPointExperience with retail scan, reporting or forecasting tools such as Circana (IRI/Aztec), Acumen or similar systems will be highly regarded
