IT Project Manager position available at a large system integration company in New York. Seeking bilingual professionals with native-level Japanese and at least 3 years of IT PM experience. Prior work experience in Japan is a plus.

Description

A large system integration company is seeking an experienced bilingual IT Project Manager to support enterprise clients and manage various IT projects and operational support activities.

Position Summary

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing client support activities, coordinating projects, communicating with vendors and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This position requires strong bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English, project coordination ability, and hands-on IT support/project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Client Support

• Manage and coordinate assigned IT projects and support activities
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding project progress and support issues
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and status reports
• Monitor incidents, tickets, and support requests while ensuring timely resolution
• Escalate issues appropriately and proactively manage risks
• Execute operational tasks, user support, and documentation updates
• Continuously improve operational processes and workflows
• Work onsite at client locations as needed

Analysis & Reporting

• Maintain accurate daily work logs and project records
• Analyze project progress, support activities, and operational performance
• Identify issues and propose improvement plans or solutions
• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding project status

Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and support team members to achieve project goals
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders
• Support team collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget

・担当クライアントに対するサポートデスク業務

（問い合わせ対応、定義済みオペレーション業務の実施、プロジェクト／サポートメンバー・クライアント・ベンダー・社内関係者との連携およびエスカレーション対応を含む）

・インシデントおよびチケットの状況管理、積極的なモニタリングおよびオーナーシップの保持

・システムおよびドキュメント情報の更新・維持

・プロジェクト管理業務

（プロジェクト関連資料の作成・更新、ベンダーマネジメント、プロジェクト管理システム更新、作業ログの取りまとめ、関係者とのコミュニケーション等）

・定義済みオペレーション業務、ドキュメント作成、ユーザーサポート等のプロジェクトタスク実施

・担当予算および納期管理、超過・遅延の可能性がある場合のマネジメントへのエスカレーション

・Sprint Back Log や SharePoint 等のシステムへの日次業務ログ入力

・担当サポート案件およびプロジェクトの予実分析

・担当案件・プロジェクト状況分析および改善案・ソリューション提案

・ラインマネージャーへのプロジェクト／サポート状況報告

・分析結果に基づく改善案・ソリューション立案および関係者調整を含む実行

■ Management Activity

・チームメンバーに対するリーダーシップの提供

・プロジェクト目標達成に向けたチームビルディングおよびモチベーション向上

・チームメンバーの課題解決支援およびスキル向上サポート

・社内リソースおよび外部ベンダーとの調整による円滑なプロジェクト遂行

・納期・スコープ・予算内でのプロジェクト完遂管理

■ Other

・営業チームおよび FC チームとの連携による円滑な業務運営およびプロジェクトリスク回避

・チームワークを重視し、メンバー不在時のカバーおよび相互支援

・法令、社内規定、Employee Guide Book、担当チームの運用ルール遵守

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Native-level Japanese language ability
• Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management experience
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Prior work experience in Japan
• Experience with ERP systems and/or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience working in client-facing environments
