Role Description

The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening Grand Vin’s presence in the fine wine market. This role involves managing key accounts, developing and maintaining relationships with restaurants, hotels, retailers, OR private clients, and presenting the company’s portfolio of wines and glassware.

The Sales Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, conduct product training and tastings, and collaborate with marketing to support promotional activities and events. Daily activities include monitoring sales performance, preparing sales reports and forecasts, coordinating with logistics and operations to ensure timely deliveries, and providing high-quality customer service.

The role also includes identifying new business opportunities and staying informed about market trends, competitor activity, and developments in the global wine industry.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong sales, account management, and business development skills, with proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills for working with trade partners OR private clients, are a necessity.
• Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to conduct trainings, tastings, and professional meetings are valued.
• Good knowledge of wines, wine regions, and fine dining culture; formal wine education (e.g., WSET or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Candidates must have organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Relevant experience in wine distribution, hospitality, luxury goods, or FMCG sales is highly beneficial.A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred, and fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
