Overview

The client is hiring a Project Manager to lead federal construction projects from award through closeout. This role owns project delivery, including planning, execution, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience in construction
• Experience managing projects from award to closeout
• Knowledge of federal construction and compliance
• Experience with budgets, scheduling, and documentation
• Proficiency in CPM tools (Primavera P6/MS Project)

Required Certifications: OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1 (40-Hour), USACE/NAVFAC CQM, First Aid/CPR/AED

Key Responsibilities

• Lead federal construction projects from award through execution and final closeout
• Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, safety, quality, logistics, and communication
• Prepare and manage key deliverables including schedules, submittals, and safety/quality plans
• Oversee budgets, cost tracking, pay applications, and subcontractor billing
• Maintain and update CPM schedules, including look-ahead planning and delay analysis
• Manage subcontractors from buyout through performance and closeout
• Handle change orders, REAs, pricing, documentation, and tracking
• Serve as the main point of contact for government stakeholders and internal teams
• Coordinate closely with field teams to ensure alignment and execution
• Manage RFIs, submittals, reports, and all project documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal requirements including FAR/DFARS, Davis-Bacon, and reporting
• Drive project closeout including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and final payments
