Senior Product Manager – Payments

Global Payments (NYSE: GPN) is hiring a Senior Product Manager to join its B2B Embedded Payments team in Denver, Colorado. This is a high-impact role for an experienced product leader who wants to shape how businesses move money — owning the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a B2B payments platform used by companies of all sizes.

You'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and fintech strategy, driving decisions that directly affect how partners and merchants integrate, process, and scale payment volume across a global commerce network.

This is not a generic product management role. It's built for someone who understands the mechanics of payments — card processing, ACH, virtual cards, wire transfers — and who is equally comfortable designing developer-friendly APIs as they are presenting pricing strategy to executive leadership.

You'll own the full lifecycle: from early-stage ideation and competitive analysis through launch, adoption, and continuous iteration.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the product strategy for the B2B payments platform, with a focus on API integration, security, scalability, and overall developer/user experience.

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation and concept development through launch and ongoing enhancement.

Lead market research, competitive analysis, and structured customer feedback loops to inform roadmap decisions and surface new growth opportunities.

Partner closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver product requirements aligned to business objectives.

Design and manage scalable, developer-friendly APIs, continuously improving integration speed, usability, and the overall developer experience.

Translate emerging payments industry trends (real-time payments, embedded finance, regulatory shifts) into actionable product bets.

Requirements

7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or API-driven products.

Strong understanding of B2B payment ecosystems — card processing, ACH, virtual cards, and wire transfers.

Hands-on experience designing and managing APIs, with working knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication.

An analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting product metrics and using data to drive decisions rather than intuition alone.

Preferred

Experience with B2B platforms, ERP integrations, or SaaS products.

Working knowledge of payments compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2).

Comfort working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or Confluence.
