Financial Analyst

A leading company in the logistics sector is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its international Finance team.

The role

The Financial Analyst will support the financial management of a regional portfolio of countries, working closely with the Regional CFO, local finance teams and operational stakeholders. The role combines reporting, planning and performance analysis with a strong business-partnering approach, turning financial and operational data into clear insights and practical recommendations.

Key ResponsabilitiesCollect, validate and consolidate financial information from the countries within the assigned region, ensuring accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting.

Prepare management presentations, country reviews and decision-support analyses for the Regional CFO and senior management.

Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning, identifying trends, risks and deviations from plan.

Analyse working capital, revenue, costs, margins and productivity, recommending actions to improve financial performance and cash generation.

Perform variance and cost-control analysis, investigate root causes and follow up on agreed corrective actions with local stakeholders.

Monitor foreign-exchange exposure and assess its impact on regional results.

Lead ad hoc analyses and contribute to improvements in dashboards, reporting tools and cross-regional finance processes.

Candidate profile

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.

Between 5 and 10 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business controlling, finance business partnering, audit or a comparable finance role.

Previous experience in the logistics sector, ideally within an international and operationally complex organisation.

Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, cost control and management reporting.

Advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of Power BI and experience with SAP or another leading ERP; familiarity with SQL, Python or VBA is an advantage.

Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions, communicate clearly and work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Fluent English is essential; knowledge of an additional language such as French, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese is a plus.
