Role Description The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, staging, and dispatching furniture, fixtures, and equipment for customer projects. The supervisor coordinates and leads warehouse staff, assigns tasks, and monitors productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing inventory accuracy, maintaining organized storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and documentation, and preparing products for delivery and installation. The role also involves collaborating with project managers and logistics teams, troubleshooting operational issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Warehouse operations and logistics skills, including experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, and workflow coordination.
• Team leadership and people management capabilities, such as supervising staff, scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Safety and quality-focused skills, including knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safe material handling practices, and quality inspections.
• Organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical and systems proficiency, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and basic MS Office tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing furniture and equipment, with attention to ergonomics and safety.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision or lead roles; experience in furniture, logistics, or related industries is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in supply chain, logistics, or operations are beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area as needed.
