Finance Data Migration & Reconciliation Temp

Temporary Contract | ASAP – End April 2027

Join our Finance Transformation team and support the final phase of a finance system migration project. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, and is meticulous in ensuring data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support finance data migration and system implementation activities.
• Validate, verify, and reconcile large datasets across Excel files and finance systems.
• Perform data cleansing, pre-load checks, and post-load validation to ensure data accuracy.
• Compare source data against migrated data to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues while maintaining data integrity.
• Document validation findings and escalate unresolved issues to the project team.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to support a successful system go-live.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, filtering, sorting, and data comparison.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data migration, data validation, reconciliation, or master data management.
• Finance or Accounting knowledge is highly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate, Excel Macros, or scripting will be an added advantage.
