Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter role based in Baden, ON. The Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting job opportunities, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions with hiring managers.

The role will involve building and maintaining talent pipelines, attending recruitment events and job fairs, and promoting The Erb Group’s employer brand in the transportation and logistics sector. The Recruiter will also handle offer negotiations, onboarding coordination, and recruitment-related reporting to ensure hiring goals are met.

Collaboration with HR, operations, and leadership teams is key to supporting workforce planning and maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, or related industries, or strong interest in learning the cold chain logistics sector.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS tools, and common office software applications.
• Ability to work on-site in Baden, ON, and occasionally attend external recruitment events or job fairs.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to candidate experience.
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of employment legislation and best practices in equitable, inclusive, and non-discriminatory hiring.
