Senior Sales Manager (Medical Device Manufacturing) / East

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Sales Manager to be part of their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team and ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and achieve overall business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers while leading commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and strategic business partnerships.
• Lead the sales team by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, mentoring, and supporting capability development to achieve business targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and develop strategies to strengthen market presence and customer retention.
• Monitor sales performance, business pipeline, revenue forecasts, quotation conversion, and key performance indicators to support informed decision-making.
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects, commercial activities, and customer expectations are effectively managed.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and industry developments to recommend strategies that enhance business competitiveness.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Manage departmental budgets, sales planning, and resource allocation while driving operational efficiency and commercial excellence.
• Prepare business reports, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management, while supporting other commercial initiatives as required.
• Perform ad-hoc initiative project as assigned when required.

Job Requirements

• Min Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Min 8 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales within a medical device or industrial sector.
• Proven experience developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading commercial negotiations.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and customer engagement skills.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and business development activities when required.
• Good communication skills
