π Rquirements
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering, with 5+ years of practical experience
- Proven background engineering and supporting production infrastructure in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including service health, system logs, resource contention, process handling, and connectivity diagnostics
- Hands-on Terraform expertise, including module creation, state management, environment segregation, and repeatable provisioning
- Experience with IT service management processes and tools, covering incident, change, and problem management
- Demonstrated ability to improve automation and reliability with measurable operational impact
- Strong ownership mindset in production environments, with disciplined root-cause analysis and composure under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in infrastructure engineering workflows, with careful validation and awareness of data sensitivity
- Ability to assess AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalate uncertainty appropriately, and ensure outcomes meet resiliency, security, and auditability expectations
- Preferred: experience supporting infrastructure for enterprise analytics or business intelligence platforms, including scaling, scheduling, extract window management, and dependency troubleshooting
- Preferred: experience applying AI or large language model tools to operational workflows such as triage, documentation, or automation, with an evaluation and continuous improvement mindset
- Preferred: scripting and automation experience with Python or Bash
- Preferred: familiarity with observability tooling, including log aggregation, metrics platforms, and alert tuning
- Preferred: knowledge of security fundamentals for infrastructure operations, including certificate lifecycle management, secrets management, least privilege, and vulnerability remediation
- Preferred: understanding of network fundamentals for enterprise platforms, including load balancers, reverse proxies, firewall rules, DNS, and TLS
π©βπ»π¨βπ» Your responsibilities are
- Engineer and maintain hybrid infrastructure environments that support enterprise analytics platforms across development, test, and production, including compute, storage, networking, load balancing, DNS, certificates, and operating system configuration
- Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform, building reusable modules and standardized patterns for consistent deployments across environments
- Automate repetitive operational work such as environment builds, validation checks, certificate renewals, and health checks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability
- Strengthen platform resilience through high-availability design, backup and restore procedures, disaster recovery planning and testing, and environment standardization
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and platform dependencies, including system metrics, service health, logs, and network performance
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective action tracking, producing structured documentation that helps prevent repeat incidents and improve resolution times
- Identify and apply AI and large language model-assisted efficiencies across operational workflows, including incident summaries, runbook creation, alert correlation, and change-plan validation
- Collaborate with platform administrators, application teams, and data teams to align infrastructure capacity, scheduling, concurrency, and performance baselines with platform needs
- Create and maintain operational documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting runbooks, and support checklists
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to speed up infrastructure analysis and design documentation, while validating outputs and handling sensitive data appropriately
- Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices to delivery and automation activities to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes remain traceable, auditable, and aligned with resiliency and security expectations
