Responsibilities

Team Introduction

TikTok Live Platform Mobile team focuses on mobile-end development for the payment related feature direction dedicated to building secure, stable, and seamless payment products. Our goal is to enhance the payment experience for users, ensuring smooth transactions within the TikTok ecosystem.

Beyond development, we strive to deeply understand our users, identify key opportunities, and prioritize challenges to create innovative user experience solutions. We are looking for experienced mobile engineers to join our team and contribute to the development of mobile native and cross-platform applications that power our payment products.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.

Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement the new-user features of our mobile application.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.
• Optimize mobile applications and user experience on the mobile platforms.
• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on a tight schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/ Master's in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases.
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in native Android development
• Large scale client-facing industry project development experience.
