Business Development Specialist – Middle East & North Africa (MENA) & India

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support regional market development and customer coordination activities across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) region and India.

The role is limited to non-binding liaison, promotional, and market support activities and does not include authority to negotiate or conclude contracts, approve pricing, or make commercial decisions on behalf of the company.

The position supports coordination between customers, distributors, and the company’s designated commercial management team located outside the MENA region.

Primary markets may include India, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Nepal, Kenia, Jordan, Angola, Ghana, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.

The role reports directly to the Revenue General Manager. The person must be available to travel 50%+ of the time.

What You Will Do

• Conduct market monitoring activities and provide regional business intelligence reports.
• Identify potential customers and market opportunities for evaluation by regional management.
• Support the implementation of regional market visibility initiatives.
• Gather information related to industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Serve as a regional liaison supporting communications between customers and the company’s authorized management team.
• Coordinate customer introductions, informational meetings, and follow-up communications.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
• Support relationship-building activities under the direction of regional management.
• Administrative & Commercial Support
• Prepare market summaries, informational presentations, and opportunity reports.
• Maintain CRM records relating to customer interactions and regional market developments.
• Coordinate internal communication between customers and company departments.
• Coordinate communication and service level for customers in the region.
• Provide non-binding recommendations and market observations for management review.

What We're Looking For

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience
• Previous experience in customer coordination, market development support, or regional commercial support roles.
• Experience within food and beverage markets preferred.
• Experience across multicultural and international environments.

Skills

Fluent English is mandatory, Hindi and/or Arabic are a plusStrong coordination and communication capabilities.

Strong market research and reporting capabilities.

Ability to operate within multinational matrix organizations.

Strong organizational and relationship support skills.
