The Role

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our View Boston team. In this role, you'll be an integral part of delivering our promise to our guests by executing HR strategy and supporting the full employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the General Manager and the Regional Human Resources Director, you'll partner with operational managers on initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business performance.

Your day-to-day will involve developing and maintaining strong partnerships with management to ensure HR strategies, processes, and practices are implemented. You will provide purposeful, forward-looking coaching and feedback to employees at every level, helping address employee-related issues and business needs as they arise.

You'll ensure compliance with governmental and labor reporting requirements, and prepare documentation needed to satisfy state and federal laws. You'll also lead employee relations, including organizing and executing investigations into policy and law violations, and handling grievances or concerns.

Payroll is a key piece of this position: you'll manage end-to-end weekly payroll operations, including approval, auditing, reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies in line with company policies and regulations. You'll also partner on workers' compensation claims, leaves of absence, and benefits administration.

Beyond that, you'll develop and facilitate talent development materials and initiatives, always maintaining an active interest in company and venue-specific operations so you can provide value-added HR business partnership.

You'll demonstrate thought leadership and sound judgment in HR decisions, ensure optimum staffing levels throughout the unit, and lead and administer the full employee lifecycle across the assigned region.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role carries supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws. You will interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline; address complaints; and resolve problems.

You should be comfortable with compliance documentation, payroll processes, and benefits coordination, and you should have a genuine interest in learning the operational side of the venue.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, plus a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.

Location & Work Environment

This is an on-site role at View Boston in Boston, MA.
