Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Estimator/Project Manager role located in Newcastle, CA. The Estimator/Project Manager will prepare detailed cost estimates and project proposals, including material, labor, and subcontractor pricing for construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and developing accurate budgets and schedules.

The role also involves overseeing projects from award through completion, tracking costs, managing change orders, and communicating regularly with clients and internal teams to ensure expectations, timelines, and budgets are met. The Estimator/Project Manager will maintain organized project documentation, monitor progress in the field, and support continuous improvement in estimating and project management processes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation for residential and/or commercial projects.
• Demonstrated ability in Cost Management and Budgeting to control expenses and maintain profitability.
• Effective Communication skills for working with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with relevant construction and estimating software (e.g., MS Excel, estimating platforms) and general computer literacy.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes; prior experience in construction project management or estimating preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Newcastle, CA, collaborate with field personnel, and adapt to changing project needs.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
