Fixed Operations Recruiter

Great automotive talent isn't always looking for a new opportunity. Jim Ellis Automotive Group is looking for a Fixed Operations Recruiter who knows how to find great people, start conversations, build relationships, and create interest - not just post jobs and wait for applications.

Your primary focus will be recruiting automotive technicians, from students entering the industry to experienced Certified and Master Technicians, while also supporting Service Advisors, Parts professionals, Shop Foremen, and other Fixed Operations roles.

What You'll Do

• Proactively source, engage, screen, and recruit Fixed Operations talent.
• Build strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with Fixed Operations leaders to understand their teams and anticipate staffing needs.
• Develop relationships with technical schools, trade programs, military programs, and workforce organizations.
• Use job boards, social media, referrals, networking, AI, and recruiting technology to reach talent.
• Stay current on technician availability, compensation, competitors, and automotive hiring trends.
• Track recruiting results and continuously find better ways to attract and hire great people.

What We're Looking For

• Professional recruiting experience with proven success sourcing talent.
• Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organized approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence using recruiting technology, social media, AI tools, and applicant tracking systems.
• Automotive or Fixed Operations recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
