Technical Project Manager (Telecom Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite, 5 days/week

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Compensation

$60-$70/hr | Conversion Salary: $110K-$130K

Overview

Seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead telecommunications and infrastructure projects across a large campus environment. This role combines project management with hands-on telecom expertise, supporting fiber/OSP, DAS, cellular, structured cabling, and physical security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage telecom infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Review telecom construction drawings and OSP designs using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Procore.
• Support fiber, DAS, cellular, and carrier infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with facilities teams, vendors, carriers (AT&T, Comcast), and stakeholders.
• Lead security camera and low-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Conduct field validations, site walks, quality inspections, and final punch lists.
• Develop project estimates and maintain project documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Active RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification required.
• 5+ years of telecom infrastructure project management experience.
• Experience with fiber/OSP, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, physical security, and telecom construction.
• Ability to review construction drawings, cable schedules, and project estimates.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and Visio.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent telecom/infrastructure experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Higher education, large campus, or enterprise infrastructure experience.
• DAS and cellular deployment experience.
• Experience coordinating with utilities and telecom carriers on service delivery and infrastructure projects.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
