Compliance Project Manager

Overview

Client is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Compliance Project Manager on a contract basis to join the Compliance team on a contract basis. In this role, you will own the day-to-day operational coordination, project tracking, and timeline management for compliance audits and cross-functional remediation programs.

The ideal candidate possesses strong cross-functional communication skills, experience navigating complex data requests, and a proven track record of using project management tools like Jira to optimize workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Management & Execution Support

• Coordinate the end-to-end lifecycle of audit notices and scope documents, including routing materials and organizing responses across internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate the assignment, review, and timely completion of operational questionnaires and third-party notices (Network, Internal Teams).
• Own audit fieldwork time management, including tracking samples, organizing data requests, and scheduling critical audit meetings.
• Build, optimize, and maintain standardized compliance workflows and documentation within Jira (Client tickets) to support long-term scalability.

Remediation, Recoupment & Project Tracking

• Support the execution of audit remediation and recoupment processes, including assisting with root cause analysis.
• Track, follow up on, and escalate outstanding findings and remediation tasks to ensure cross-functional accountability.
• Collaborate with the ePMO Compliance Program to track deliverables, manage escalations, and support cross-functional implementation.

Reporting & Metrics Support

• Assist compliance leadership in organizing data and tracking updates for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board reports.
• Maintain KPI trackers and compliance metrics to ensure data readiness for leadership review.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 7+ years of project management experience, ideally within a TPA, healthcare, insurance, or highly regulated compliance environment.
• Technical Tools: High competency in Jira (or similar ticketing/project management systems) for process documentation, ticket tracking, and workflow creation.

• Superb timeline management, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to strict deadlines.
• Analytical ability to assist with data requests, audit calculations, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills to manage follow-ups and diplomatic escalations across various internal business units.
