About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Family Office Accounting Specialist to join a dynamic, family-run organization with a diverse portfolio of investments and real estate holdings. You will oversee accounting and tax functions while providing financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multi-entity environment and has a strong foundation in corporate and partnership tax.

Duties include but are not limited to

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple corporations, partnerships, and related entities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure timely and accurate corporate, partnership, and personal tax compliance
• Prepare tax working papers and liaise with external tax advisors and auditors
• Analyze financial data to support business planning and strategic decision-making
• Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury management
• Perform bank, investment, and intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, controls, and financial processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support ongoing business initiatives
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information

About You

The successful candidate will have the following

• CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience, preferably within a family office or private investment environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, partnership, and personal taxation
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential financial information
