Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our sales growth in the UK and abroad. This role will be key in strengthening our brand presence and building long-term relationships with key partners, interior designers, and architects in these markets.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market and a proven track record in driving business development and sales in the interiors industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Development:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in UK and abroad.
• Build and maintain relationships with key interior designers, and architects.
• Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Achieve sales targets through proactive client engagement and the development of new business relationships.
• Develop strategic sales plans to drive growth in each market.
• Manage sales pipelines and forecast sales growth opportunities.
• Brand Positioning:
• Ensure Original BTC’s brand values of craftsmanship, heritage, and innovative design are communicated effectively across target markets.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create region-specific campaigns and initiatives to boost brand awareness and bring further sales growth.
• Client Management:
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct regular meetings with key partners, interior designers, and architects to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the design or lighting industries.·       Strong knowledge of the design and retail landscape.·       Fluent in English·       Excellent negotiation and communication skills.·       Ability to travel.·       Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
