Agile Delivery Manager

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Agile Delivery Manager (ADM) to support a large enterprise Data & Analytics (D&A) portfolio, with responsibility for a key strategic data initiative along with 1–2 additional projects. This role will partner closely with an existing ADM to drive delivery across strategic data initiatives within a complex banking environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of Agile delivery leadership and traditional Waterfall project management experience, enabling them to navigate both iterative and structured delivery models. This individual will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of data transformation and migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across a key strategic data initiative and support additional projects within the Data & Analytics portfolio.
• Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to support project and governance requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned and work is delivered effectively.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
• Track delivery metrics and maintain project documentation using Jira, Confluence, and Clarity.
• Support financial management activities, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate data-related initiatives, including data transformation, data migration, and analytics workstreams.
• Provide regular status updates and executive reporting to portfolio leadership.
• Support delivery planning and assist with overall portfolio execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Project Manager leading technology initiatives.
• Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Banking or financial services industry experience is required.
• Experience supporting data-focused initiatives, including data transformation, data migration, and data analytics projects.
• Hands-on experience with Clarity, Jira, and Confluence is required.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery reporting.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and coordinate complex cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting enterprise Data & Analytics portfolios.
• Exposure to reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience working with large-scale data modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise banking governance frameworks.
