Business Analyst - Global Hedge Fund - Up to $180k Base + Large bonus

A leading multi-strategy hedge fund is hiring a Senior Business Analyst in Chicago to work closely with its US trading business, sitting at the intersection of the front office, risk, and technology teams.

This is a highly trader-facing role, partnering directly with the desk to understand trading requirements and drive technology initiatives across the options platform.

The individual will take ownership of projects from initial scoping and requirements gathering through development and delivery, working closely with engineering teams to establish priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure solutions meet the needs of the trading business.

The role offers significant exposure to high-volume trading - pricing, risk, trading workflows, and the supporting technology infrastructure. You’ll work across both exchange-traded and OTC products, with responsibility for translating complex front-office requirements into actionable development plans and helping the business prioritize its technology roadmap.

The firm operates a highly technology-driven trading platform across global markets and multiple asset classes. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with considerable autonomy and the opportunity to work directly with senior stakeholders across trading and technology.

We are considering candidates with 3–5 years of experience across front office, trade support/middle office, risk, or a similar trading environment, with strong derivatives exposure and experience working on trading technology projects.

The role is likely to pay up to $180k base initially. A strong performer will receive a large % bonus.
