People & Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and technology-driven People & Operations Manager to help us build a more efficient, automated and well-run organisation.

You will take ownership of our people operations, operational processes and change initiatives, with a strong focus on reducing manual work, improving workflows and enabling our teams through technology.

You will also manage our Workplace Experience, to ensure day-to-day workplace and guest experience is optimal.

Your Role

People & HR Operations

• Own the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through performance management and offboarding
• Manage HR policies, employment documentation, employee records and HR compliance
• Improve and automate HR workflows, approvals, documentation and tracking
• Build structured recruitment and onboarding processes
• Maintain effective HR systems and management reporting

Process Improvement & Automation

• Review how work is currently done and identify processes that can be simplified, automated or eliminated
• Design practical SOPs, workflows and clear ownership structures
• Reduce reliance on spreadsheets, email follow-ups and repetitive manual administration
• Use Microsoft 365, AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
• Develop dashboards and reporting that give management visibility over key operational matters

Technology & Change Enablement

• Work closely with IT and business teams to improve how technology is used across the Firm
• Support implementation and adoption of new systems, AI tools and digital workflows
• Translate technology into practical processes that employees can actually use
• Drive change initiatives from planning through implementation and adoption
• Identify gaps between systems, people and processes and develop practical solutions

Operational Management

• Manage and develop the Workplace & Experience Executive
• Establish appropriate workplace standards, controls and operating processes
• Oversee key operational vendors, contracts and expenditure
• Ensure operational issues are properly owned, tracked and resolved
• Support the Management on Firm-wide operational and transformation initiatives

Who We Are Looking For

• Approximately 4–7 years’ experience across HR, operations, transformation or process improvement
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore HR and employment practices
• Highly organised with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Comfortable with technology, AI and automation
• Able to map a process, identify inefficiencies and implement a better way of working
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable challenging inefficient legacy practices
• Able to work independently and take ownership from problem identification through implementation
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is advantageous
