Team Leader

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Team Leader to guide a team responsible for the accurate and timely administration of KiwiSaver member records. You'll balance day-to-day operational leadership with a focus on service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced registry environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of registry administrators processing Kiwi
• Saver member transactions (contributions, withdrawals, transfers, and member data updates)
• Monitor team performance against SLAs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage workflow allocation, escalations, and resourcing to meet daily processing targets
• Ensure processes comply with FMA/IRD requirements and internal risk and compliance frameworks
• Identify and drive process improvements to lift efficiency and member experience
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members
• Report on team performance, issues, and trends to senior management
• Act as an escalation point for complex member or client queries

About You

• Proven experience leading a team in financial services, superannuation, or Kiwi
• Saver/registry administration
• Strong understanding of Kiwi
• Saver legislation and registry processes (highly regarded)
• Excellent people leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing staff
• Strong attention to detail and a compliance-first mindset
• Confident communicator, comfortable managing competing priorities under pressure
• Proficiency with registry/administration systems and Microsoft Office
