Director of Product Management

Job Title: Director of Product Management Type: Full Time Opportunity Location: Raleigh, NC (hybrid, onsite 3 days a week) Salary: up to $160,000 base No third parties Eligibility for this role requires US Citizenship or Green Card A growing life insurance company, is looking to bring on a Director of Product Management for their Raleigh, NC office.

The company focuses on retirement solutions, fixed annuities, and life insurance, with an emphasis on using modern technology to simplify the insurance experience. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys driving execution as much as strategy.

You'll lead a team of Product Owners supporting policy administration initiatives while partnering with engineering, QA, business stakeholders, vendors, and offshore teams to deliver enterprise technology projects. Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 Product Owners

Serve as the primary point of contact for policy administration projects, ensuring deliverables, priorities, and timelines remain on track.

Partner with engineering, QA, business stakeholders, and vendor partners to successfully execute technology initiatives.

Work closely with backend insurance systems and cross-functional business groups to ensure successful product delivery.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis experience within the insurance industry.

Previous leadership experience managing Product Owners, Product Managers, or Business Analysis.

Experience with insurance policy administration platforms (FAST preferred; Guidewire, Majesco, DSC, or similar platforms are also highly relevant)

Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery

Experience coordinating with offshore teams, business partners, and vendor organizations.
