JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Finance Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recently graduated individual to develop their skills in mergers and acquisitions and contribute to our ongoing success. You will be reporting to the Head of M&A and Ventures and work closely with the VP of Ventures and Acquisitions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research

• Conduct market research to identify companies within specific industries that meet Greenbull's criteria for mergers and acquisitions.
• Screen the market and target well-performing companies for potential investment.
• Establish contact with target companies and gather essential financial information.

Financial Analysis

• Analyse financial statements, cash flow statements, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Understand and interpret variations in financial data.

Financial Modeling

• Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities and evaluate their impact on the company's financial performance.

Investment Monitoring

• Monitor and analyse the performance of existing investments.
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Due Diligence

• Contribute to due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities.

Communication skills

• Prepare documentation, including PowerPoint / Canvas presentations, to effectively communicate investment opportunities.
• Utilise strong presentation skills to represent Greenbull and present opportunities to potential ventures and acquisitions.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills across various channels, including phone and email, to present the company positively.

Requirements

• Recently graduated with a Business School master’s or bachelor’s degree.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in finance or a related field.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Preferred experience in assessing companies, ideally within transaction services at a consulting firm.
• Previous experience as a trainee at a private equity fund, venture capital fund, or corporate finance department of a company is advantageous.
