Scrum MasterLocation: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite in Dublin
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a small, high-calibre delivery team working across a complex digital and technology transformation environment.
This is a hands-on role supporting multiple Scrum teams across a mixed application landscape, including Salesforce and legacy enterprise applications. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, technical teams, Release Managers, Support Managers and wider programme stakeholders to drive delivery, remove blockers, manage dependencies and support high-performing Agile teams.
The role would suit someone who is proactive, delivery-focused and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders and multiple competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives and other Scrum ceremonies.
- Work closely with Product Owners to maintain clear, prioritised and delivery-ready backlogs.
- Support Product Owners and delivery teams in breaking down larger initiatives into actionable user stories and sprint objectives.
- Help teams remain focused on agreed sprint goals and delivery outcomes.
- Identify and remove blockers that may impact delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across Scrum teams.
- Promote strong Agile practices and collaborative ways of working.
- Support delivery across multiple teams and manage cross-team dependencies.
- Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate activity across Product Owners, technology teams, Release Managers, Support Managers and wider programme stakeholders.
- Support planning and sequencing across multiple applications, workstreams and delivery teams.
- Manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.
- Maintain clear visibility of delivery progress and upcoming priorities.
- Support release planning, readiness and coordination across interconnected systems.
- Help ensure delivery activity remains aligned to wider programme objectives.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of coordination between business and technology stakeholders.
- Provide clear, accurate and transparent reporting on delivery progress.
- Communicate risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions effectively.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and programme sponsors.
- Facilitate effective communication across technical and business teams.
- Support resolution of delivery challenges and competing priorities.
- Technology & Delivery Environment
- The role will operate across a mixed enterprise application environment, including:
- Salesforce-based applications
- Legacy enterprise applications
- Application integrations and dependencies
- Wider digital and technology platforms
- Direct Salesforce experience is highly beneficial, although deep technical or development-level Salesforce expertise is not required.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Experience5+ years’ experience across Scrum Master, Agile Delivery or closely related delivery roles, with strong hands-on Scrum Master experience.
- Proven experience supporting cross-functional technology teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience working closely with Product Owners on backlog management, prioritisation and refinement.
- Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams, workstreams or applications.
- Experience supporting complex transformation, application change or modernisation programmes.
- Experience managing risks, issues, blockers and delivery dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior stakeholders.
- Salesforce delivery experience is highly beneficial.
- Experience within aviation, financial services or another large regulated environment is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, practices and artefacts.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of backlog refinement, user stories, sprint planning and Definition of Done.
- Ability to identify blockers and drive issues through to resolution.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and delivery focus.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar Agile delivery tools is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Salesforce-enabled delivery and integrations is advantageous.
- Certifications
- Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM preferred.
- Additional Agile or delivery certifications are advantageous.
- Education
- Degree-level qualification in Information Systems, Technology, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
