DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - Major Banking Group, SydneyYou'll help design, build and operate the platform and automation that lets engineering teams ship securely and reliably across a major bank's Banking and Financial Services platforms. You'll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and container platforms that underpin critical services at scale.

Working in an Agile engineering team, you'll be involved across the full lifecycle, from design and development through to production operations. You'll work closely with platform, security and application teams to keep systems secure, reliable and observable, while continuously improving engineering practices.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)
• Strong infrastructure as code skills using Terraform, Cloud
• Formation or equivalent
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid background with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash or similar)
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work well with engineering teams
