Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: La Verne, CA — Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Compensation

$170,000 base salary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and drive the organization’s IT operations, infrastructure strategy, and technology initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong IT operations and ITIL background who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day technology needs.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IT experience, strong experience with budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and IT strategy, and be comfortable remaining approximately 20% hands-on with IT infrastructure, particularly initially. This role currently has no direct reports.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services
• Develop and execute the organization’s overall IT strategy and roadmap
• Establish and maintain IT processes aligned with ITIL best practices
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, procurement, and technology spend
• Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud technologies
• Remain approximately 20% hands-on with IT infrastructure, especially during the initial period
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, security, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Manage technology projects from planning through implementation
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation
• Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to understand technology needs and priorities
• Manage risk, business continuity, disaster recovery, and overall IT reliability
• Establish KPIs and operational metrics to measure IT performance and service delivery
• Serve as the primary IT leader and strategic technology partner for the organization

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience
• Strong background in IT operations and infrastructure
• Experience working within ITIL frameworks and best practices
• Proven experience managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships
• Strong understanding of IT strategy, infrastructure, systems, and technology operations
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, with the ability to remain approximately 20% hands-on
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and solve technical problems
• Comfortable operating independently in an environment without a large IT team
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred
