Senior Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing delivery impediments, coaching teams on Agile best practices, and working within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. Experience supporting banking or financial services organizations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum, Agile, and SAFe principles.
• Track sprint progress, team capacity, velocity, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Partner with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to support delivery.
• Use Jira to manage user stories, sprint boards, backlogs, workflows, and Agile metrics.
• Identify and remove blockers that impact team productivity and sprint commitments.
• Support PI Planning, PI execution, and other SAFe ceremonies and processes.
• Monitor team performance and continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Help coordinate dependencies across multiple Agile teams and programs.
• Promote transparency around delivery status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and effective Agile delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Agile project tracking.
• Experience working within SAFe environments.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching development teams.
• Experience managing impediments, dependencies, risks, and delivery issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technology teams.

Preferred Skills

• Banking or Financial Services industry experience.SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification or other relevant Agile certification.
• Experience with PI Planning and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Experience working with large enterprise technology organizations.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira reporting/dashboards.
