Senior Analyst / Associate, FIG

Metis Search are currently partnered with a leading global investment bank looking to add a Senior Analyst or Associate to its FIG team in London.

This is an established platform with a strong reputation across the Financial Institutions sector, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced senior bankers in a high-performing and collaborative environment.

The team benefits from strong deal flow and an extensive network of financial institution clients, providing exposure to a broad range of transactions across the FIG (and fintech) space. The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct senior exposure, and the opportunity to take ownership of high-profile transactions from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A transactions across the FIG sector.
• Produce financial models and valuations.
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials.
• Conduct industry and company analysis across financial institutions.
• Work closely with clients and external advisers throughout transactions.

Key Requirements

• Approximately 2-6 years’ experience in investment banking, ideally within FIG or fintech.
• Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
• Demonstrated transaction experience.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
