Talent Acquisition Recruiter / Hiring Specialist

We are seeking a professional and highly organized Talent Acquisition Recruiter / Hiring Specialist to support recruiting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, hiring, and onboarding activities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with applicants by phone, email, and other approved communication channels while providing a professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Review applications, resumes, and candidate qualifications.
• Conduct initial candidate screening by phone and/or video.
• Make outbound recruiting calls and follow up with applicants.
• Schedule interviews with hiring managers and recruiting teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting records.
• Coordinate background checks, employment verification, and other authorized pre-employment screening.
• Communicate job requirements, schedules, compensation information, and next steps accurately.
• Assist with offers, hiring paperwork, and onboarding.
• Provide professional customer service to candidates, employees, hiring managers, and internal personnel.
• Follow company hiring policies, equal employment opportunity requirements, confidentiality standards, and applicable employment laws.
• Escalate questions or issues requiring HR, legal, security, or management review.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the recruiting and hiring process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone and candidate-interviewing skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and open positions simultaneously.
• Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office/Excel and recruiting platforms.
• Ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information appropriately.
• Strong follow-up and time-management skills.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
