OEM Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven OEM Sales Manager to manage key accounts and develop new business opportunities across the UK and Northern Ireland. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker that can connect and communicate up to board level with a passion for building long-term client relationships and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in sales, ideally within the hydraulic hose or related industrial sectors such as pneumatics and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client queries, concerns, and feedback.
• Develop and execute account plans to maximise sales growth and meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK & NI, expanding the company’s market presence.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new market segments, and potential customers.
• Generate qualified leads, prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, and successfully close new deals.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive market share growth.
• Track, analyse, and report on sales performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of products, technologies, and industry developments.
• Provide customers with technical advice and product recommendations suited to their applications and needs.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in sales within the hydraulics, hose, or related industrial sectors.
• Strong background in field sales or account management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing time and priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a results-driven mindset.
• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
