JOB SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of an enterprise Cryptographic Key Management Services program. This role ensures that complex, security-critical projects are tracked, documented, and delivered with precision and consistency.

This individual manages the day-to-day operational rhythm of the program — owning Jira board hygiene, coordinating sprint ceremonies, producing status reports, managing risk logs, and keeping cross-functional stakeholders informed and aligned. They serve as the connective tissue between senior program leadership, engineering teams, security architects, vendors, and business partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong project coordination fundamentals, hands-on Agile/Jira experience, and an interest in cybersecurity and cryptography. This is a high-visibility role with significant growth potential into a full Technical Program Manager position within a critical enterprise security function.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Agile Coordination & Jira Administration Maintain and administer Jira project boards, ensuring epics, stories, tasks, and defects are accurately created, prioritized, assigned, and tracked to completion.
• Coordinate sprint ceremonies — including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives — in collaboration with program leadership.
• Track sprint velocity, story completion rates, and backlog health; escalate risks, blockers, or delivery concerns promptly.
• Manage Confluence documentation, including runbooks, meeting notes, decision logs, and onboarding materials.
• Project Tracking & Status Reporting Produce and distribute weekly or bi-weekly program status reports, including milestone progress, risks, budget snapshots, and action items.
• Maintain the program risk and issue register; track mitigation actions and drive timely resolution.
• Partner with engineering and security leads to identify dependencies and surface scheduling risks.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting materials and presentations with clear, accurate narratives.
• Meeting Management & Stakeholder Communication Schedule, organize, and facilitate team meetings, working sessions, and cross-functional syncs; document and distribute notes and action items.
• Act as a central communication hub across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders; ensure accountability and follow-through on deliverables.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics for new team members, vendors, and external partners.
• Documentation & Compliance Support Maintain project documentation in alignment with enterprise security and regulatory standards; ensure proper versioning and storage of artifacts.
• Support audit readiness by organizing evidence, maintaining traceable documentation, and coordinating with compliance and security teams.
• Assist with vendor coordination, including tracking deliverables, contract milestones, renewals, and SLA adherence.
• Resource & Budget Coordination Track time reporting and resource allocation across project phases; follow up with team members to ensure accuracy.
• Support program leadership with budget tracking, purchase order management, and invoice coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience

2–4 years of project coordination, project management, or operational experience within a technology, IT, or security environment.

Strong proficiency with Jira, including board administration, backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting.

Experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams, including participation in sprint ceremonies and maintaining Confluence documentation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience producing status reports, meeting minutes, and stakeholder-facing materials.

Preferred Experience

Experience within cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk environments.

Exposure to cryptographic key management, PKI, HSMs, or enterprise secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Venafi, Thales).

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., telecom, financial services, healthcare) with audit and compliance documentation requirements.

Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as NIST, FIPS, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or HIPAA.
