Job Description

Seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to support health data analytics, reporting, and clinical data initiatives for the Mental Health & Addiction program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop SQL/Python scripts, reports, data models, and analytics solutions.
• Work with large health and administrative datasets, including data linkage and cohort development.
• Build and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, analytics models, Power BI dashboards, and reports.
• Support Provincial Data Set (PDS) 2.0 and Mental Health & Addiction (MHA) reporting priorities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI.
• Experience working with health data and public-sector/government environments.
• Experience developing data pipelines and end-to-end analytics products.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to Have

• Health data linkage experience.
• Mental Health & Addiction/clinical data knowledge.
• Understanding of PHIPA, data privacy, and governance.
• Experience working in product-team environments.
