Overview of Position
This position's responsibilities are to analyze data and produce internal management and external project-level reports. Ensures compliance requirements of Federal and State rules and regulations as well as District's policy and procedures for the District's General Fund, Capital Project Fund, Grants Fund, ASB, Trust Fund and all other funds. Provides direction in maintenance of records and accounts.
Performs a wide variety of financial activities relating to the processing of cash receipts and related documents; stop pay and warrant reissue; including processing, recording, updating and reconciling such information.

Experience/Education
Typical Qualifications
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be three (3) years of experience in accounting in a computerized environment, including cost accounting and preparation of specialized reports for management decision-making; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or closely-related field; Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or closely related field desired; or an equivalent of education and experience.
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the relevant knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work will be considered.

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
