We are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Singapore team and further develop our Quantitative Finance & Trading practice across APAC.

This is an opportunity to join an established international platform with an existing global client base, including key active accounts with significant immediate and ongoing hiring requirements across Singapore, wider APAC and globally.

You will have the opportunity to work on live mandates from day one while developing deeper relationships within existing accounts, identifying new areas of opportunity and building your own network and client base across the region.

Our coverage spans Quantitative Research and Quant Strategy, Quantitative Development, Quantitative Trading and Portfolio Management, as well as AI/ML Research and Engineering, supporting clients across systematic, semi-systematic and discretionary trading businesses.

We work with an established global client base spanning elite hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, market makers, quantitative investment businesses and leading investment banks, providing exposure to some of the most sophisticated and competitive hiring markets globally.

The Opportunity

You will work across our existing Quantitative Finance & Trading client base, supporting active hiring requirements while helping to further develop our relationships and market presence across Singapore and the wider APAC region.

This is a genuine 360 recruitment opportunity, combining candidate origination and execution with client relationship management, account development and new business generation.

From day one, you will have access to an established portfolio of global clients and active mandates, with extensive opportunities to work on roles both across APAC and internationally.

As you develop, you will be encouraged to take greater ownership of client relationships, identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and build new relationships across the hedge fund, proprietary trading, market-making and investment banking landscape.

You will also work closely with our established Quantitative Finance & Trading team in London, providing regular interaction and collaboration across international clients, candidates and mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit across specialist quantitative, trading and AI/ML markets, supporting systematic, semi-systematic and discretionary trading businesses.
• Network extensively across the market and conduct targeted headhunting of high-calibre quantitative, trading, research and technology professionals.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from initial engagement and career discussions through to interviews, feedback, offer management and compensation negotiation.
• Build a detailed understanding of clients’ businesses, investment strategies, team structures and hiring requirements.
• Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
• Work with our existing global client base and key active accounts, identifying opportunities to develop relationships further across Singapore and APAC.
• Manage client accounts across job qualification, search strategy, interview processes, feedback and offer negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts across additional teams, locations and skill sets.
• Develop new client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our Singapore and wider APAC business.
• Build detailed market knowledge and provide informed intelligence around talent, compensation, competitor activity and hiring trends.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in Singapore and London across shared clients, candidates, mandates and specialist market areas.

What We’re Looking For

We are open to recruiters at different levels of experience, from Recruitment Consultant through to Senior Recruitment Consultant, provided you have a strong foundation within agency recruitment and relevant exposure to Capital Markets, Quantitative Finance or Trading.

You will need

• A minimum of 2+ years’ relevant recruitment experience within Capital Markets, Quantitative Finance, Trading or a closely related financial market, with more experienced candidates equally encouraged to apply.
• Previous agency recruitment or executive search experience – this is essential.
• An understanding of the quantitative finance and trading ecosystem, or the ability and appetite to quickly develop deeper technical knowledge of the market.
• Ideally, exposure to areas such as Quant Research/Strategy, Quant Development, Quant Trading, Portfolio Management, systematic/discretionary trading or AI/ML.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• A commercially minded approach with an interest in developing both candidates and client relationships.
• The ability to manage accounts and identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and generate additional business.
• A driven, goal-focused and target-oriented mindset.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and manage your own market without being micromanaged.
• An entrepreneurial and career-driven approach.
