Resident Technical Officer - PSS

Site Supervision and Compliance

• Ensure all site works by SPPG main contractor comply with SPPG contracts, authorities’ regulations, codes and standard.
• Attend to multiple roadworks sites or tunnel works
• Inspect and monitor civil construction works.
• Witness and verify site measurements and electrical tests.
• Monitor work progress against approved schedule.

Quality Assurance and Control

• Monitor ongoing works to ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols.
• Identify and address any non-conformities or deviations from approved specifications.

Safety and Risk Management

• Promote and enforce compliance with safety regulations and risk management procedures.
• Promptly report and document any incidents, hazards, or technical failures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for authorities or public feedback.
• Represent the organization in meetings, audits, and inspections as necessary.
• Assist the Engineer with site coordination duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure projects, including construction supervision and management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with Contractor, Subcontractors and Client representative and other stakeholders.
• Familiar with local construction regulations
