ROLE SUMMARY

To adopt a holistic view to students in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals or group assigned to them. To create a positive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome parents, learners, visitors and staff in a warm, professional and child-friendly manner.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries, both in person and telephonically.
• Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Provide information regarding admissions, school procedures, events and daily operations.
• Assist with enrolment and admissions documentation.
• Maintain accurate learner, parent and staff records and databases.
• Prepare and distribute newsletters, notices and communication to parents.
• Monitor and manage the reception area to ensure it remains welcoming and organised.
• Maintain filing systems and ensure confidential information is handled appropriately.
• Prepare reports, registers and other documentation as required.
• Provide basic first aid assistance and contact parents when learners are unwell, where applicable.
• Support arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure the safety of learners.
• Assist with the coordination of photographs, special events, concerts and celebrations.
• Handle parent concerns courteously and refer matters to the appropriate staff members when necessary.
• Contribute to creating a caring, nurturing and welcoming environment aligned with the values and ethos of the school.
• Perform additional administrative duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Head of School.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Skills and Previous Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ administrative experience.
