Duties & Responsibilities

Front desk Management

• Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized and presentable reception area.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to relevant staff.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and courier services.
• Maintain office supplies and inventory, raise requests for replenishment when needed
• Assist with data entry, filing and photocopying and scanning when needed.
• Handle basic inquiries and refer complex issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain all logs in reception, update contact list, directories and schedules as needed.
• Prepare simple report on office activities or reception related matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in Speaking, Reading and writing Afrikaans.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be friendly, approachable and patient demeanour.
• Ability to handle inquiries, complaints and requests professionally.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist.
• Professional appearance.
• Adaptable and calm under pressure.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)

Required Documentation

• Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
• A valid driver's license
• Any certification related to this position would be an advantage
