We are looking for a results-driven International Sales Manager to lead business development and account growth for our AI/ML-powered data analytics solutions within the defense and law enforcement sector across the Middle East, with a primary focus on Dubai/UAE. This is a strategic, high-trust role requiring a candidate who already has established relationships at the senior officer / decision-maker level within government, defense, and law enforcement agencies, combined with the technical depth to credibly present, position, and close complex AI/ML and data analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate is part diplomat, part technologist — someone who can sit across the table from a senior security official and a CTO/technical evaluation team in the same week, and be equally credible in both conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for AI/ML and data analytics products within defense ministries, police forces, intelligence units, and other law enforcement/homeland security agencies in Dubai and the broader GCC region.
- Leverage and expand an existing network of senior officers, procurement heads, and decision-makers within government and security agencies to open doors and accelerate deal cycles.
- Translate complex AI/ML capabilities (predictive analytics, pattern/behavior detection, surveillance analytics, intelligence fusion, OSINT, NLP-based analysis, etc.) into clear, mission-relevant value propositions for non-technical and technical stakeholders alike.
- Lead or actively participate in technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and RFP/RFI responses, working closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and engineering teams.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast revenue, and report on deal status using CRM tools.
- Navigate government procurement processes, security clearances, tender documentation, and compliance requirements specific to defense/LE contracts in the UAE.Identify and manage local partners, system integrators, and resellers to extend market reach where direct engagement is not feasible.
- Track competitor activity, emerging threats/use-cases, and procurement trends within the regional defense and law enforcement analytics market.
- Work closely with product, engineering, legal, and delivery teams to ensure solutions proposed are deliverable and contracts are executable.
- Required Qualifications & Experience10–15 years of B2G/B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 4–5 years specifically selling analytics, AI/ML, surveillance, or security/intelligence software solutions to defense and/or law enforcement agencies.
- Proven, verifiable network of senior officers, procurement officials, and decision-makers within defense, police, or intelligence agencies in Dubai/UAE (and ideally wider GCC).
- Demonstrated track record of closing high-value, complex deals (typically six to seven figures USD) within government/security sectors.
- Strong understanding of government procurement, tendering, and security clearance processes in the UAE.Technically strong — able to understand and articulate concepts such as machine learning models, predictive analytics, data pipelines, big data architecture, computer vision, NLP, and intelligence/surveillance analytics platforms without relying entirely on pre-sales support.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field;
- MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in defense forces, law enforcement, intelligence services, or government liaison roles is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English required;
- Arabic fluency strongly preferred given the nature of stakeholder engagement.
- Existing UAE residency/work eligibility preferred; willingness to travel extensively within the region required.
- Key Skills & Attributes
- Executive presence and credibility with senior government and military stakeholders
- Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach (not transactional)
- Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and data analytics architecture
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for proposals, RFP responses, and executive briefings
