Senior Technical Program Manager — Quantitative Multi-Strat Hedge FundDelmar Nord has partnered with a top tier, multi strategy hedge fund based in New York City to identify a Senior Technical Program Manager for their trading technology organization.

This is a high visibility role sitting at the intersection of quantitative trading, data infrastructure, and engineering delivery, reporting directly into a senior technology leader on the investment platform.

About the Role

The firm is looking for an experienced TPM to drive complex, cross functional technical programs supporting its systematic and volatility trading businesses. You will partner closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and engineering teams to scope, sequence, and deliver initiatives spanning market data infrastructure, trading systems, and platform tooling. This is not a peripheral PMO function.

You will be embedded with the technology and investment teams driving day to day execution and will need genuine fluency in trading workflows to be effective.

What You'll Do

• Own end to end delivery for cross functional technology programs supporting trading and research, from scoping and planning through execution and rollout.
• Manage relationships with critical data vendors and partner with engineering leads to structure vendor onboarding, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Run Agile ceremonies and maintain program tracking in JIRA across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Translate ambiguous business and trading requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Identify and manage cross team dependencies, risks, and blockers across a fast moving, high stakes trading environment.
• Communicate program status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior stakeholders across trading, quant research, and technology.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a Technical Program Manager or Technical Project Manager within a quantitative trading firm, market maker, or multi strategy hedge fund is strongly preferred.
• Direct exposure to volatility strategies, options trading, or systematic trading workflows is a significant plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing data vendor relationships (market data, reference data, or similar) is highly valued.
• Comfort operating in Agile delivery environments, with hands on JIRA experience.
• Strong technical fluency, with the ability to engage credibly in architecture and design discussions alongside engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders under pressure.
• Prior experience at a leading systematic trading firm, prop shop, or hedge fund is required (examples include firms known for rigorous quant and trading technology cultures).
