Technical Project Manager - Retail (Onsite - San Francisco Bay Area, CA)

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with proven experience leading and managing complex technical projects from conception to completion for our global retail client.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations, proficiency in project management tools, and experience coordinating resources, managing risks, and ensuring project quality standards.

This is a 40-hour per week, 12-month contract (possible extension), an onsite role at client s office in San Francisco, CA.This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex technical projects from conception to completion.
• Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Coordinate and manage resources to support project teams.
• Oversee project quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Generate and maintain project forecasts, monitor actualization, and analyze resource needs.
• Manage vendors, ensuring effective collaboration with external partners.
• Manage and resolve impediments, providing status reports at multiple levels.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and communication to mitigate dependencies and promote continuous integration and delivery.
• Ensure alignment and synchronization of multiple teams towards common program goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and managing complex technical projects from conception to completion.
• Abilities with a track record in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Asana).
• Strong communication skills with experience acting as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and facilitating effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Skilled in developing detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Expertise in risk management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Proficient in resource coordination, efficiently allocating and managing resources to support project teams.
• Experience in overseeing project quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Skilled in generating and maintaining project forecasts, monitoring actualization, and analyzing resource needs.

Compensation

$88/hr. - $93/hr.
