About the role
We are seeking a Regional Program / Project Manager to oversee strategic HVAC and Data Centre projects across the APAC region while driving the development of a regional project management framework. This hybrid role combines hands-on project delivery with the implementation of standardized processes, governance, and best practices to improve project execution across the region.
During the initial phase, the role will be equally focused on:
- Managing awarded strategic projects from execution through successful completion.
- Establishing and enhancing regional program management processes, documentation, governance, and reporting standards.
As the regional project management platform matures, the role will progressively transition towards a stronger program management focus, leading process optimization, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the organization's expanding Data Centre business across APAC and Oceania.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Develop and implement regional project management frameworks, standards, and best practices to improve consistency across APAC projects.
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting structures, KPI tracking, risk management processes, and project documentation standards.
- Monitor the progress of strategic projects across the region, ensuring effective resource planning and early identification of project risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
- Standardize project documentation, templates, handover procedures, commissioning documents, and maintenance documentation across regional operations.
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, and regional business teams to align project management processes and continuously improve project delivery.
- Drive process optimization, automation initiatives, and the implementation of lessons learned to enhance operational efficiency.
Project Management
- Lead the delivery of awarded HVAC and cooling solution projects from project handover through completion.
- Develop project execution plans, establish cross-functional project teams, define milestones, project schedules, responsibilities, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate technical, commercial, and project schedule activities while ensuring effective communication between customers, regional teams, manufacturing, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, quality, and overall performance to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project documentation, regulatory submissions, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead variation orders, change management activities, and project risk assessments while minimizing cost and schedule impacts.
- Support commissioning activities, technical issue resolution, and project handover to ensure successful project completion.
- Capture project lessons learned and recommend continuous improvements to strengthen future project execution across the region.
