This has created a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering water infrastructure solutions to join our Water Group based in our Sydney, Wollongong or Newcastle office.

In This Role You Will

Work closely with our senior team of experienced engineers, design managers and other project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record.

Support our senior team of experienced engineers, design managers, and project managers on the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects, while also managing your own projects to build your project management skills and experience.

Contribute to decision making and challenge how our projects are being delivered.

Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.

Develop strong working relationships with clients by delivering valuable business solutions and understanding the client’s business.

To Be Successful For This Role You'll NeedTertiary qualifications in engineering.

Technical understanding of water infrastructure including some or all of the following: Water and sewerage networks. Water and wastewater treatment plants. Water resources projects Dams and pumped hydro infrastructure.

Project Management qualifications/certifications preferred (e.g. Project Management Professional) or working towards the attainment of a recognised qualification / certification. Alternatively demonstrated PM excellence in a consulting environment.

Strong financial competency, sound business acumen and an understanding of how to control project financials.

Excellent organisation and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved.

Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients to meet their objectives.

Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, project teams and stakeholders to build trust, support collaboration and achieve positive project outcomes.

Ideally experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
